Lead Ticket Holder Information
When you place an order through Skiddle, all tickets will be issued under the name of the person who placed the order. This is known as the lead ticket holder.
There can only be one lead named ticket holder per order.
The lead ticket holder’s name will appear on all tickets in the order, regardless of the number of tickets purchased.
Do Ticket Names Need to Match Attendees?
No. The name on the ticket does not need to match the individual attending the event. Event staff typically only verify that the ticket is valid, not the name printed on it.
However, there are important exceptions and recommendations:
If you are not attending the event, we recommend transferring the order to the name and email address of the person who will be attending.
Some events may require guest details to be submitted in advance. In these cases:
Ensure all guest names are entered accurately.
This is especially important if the event has strict entry requirements or age restrictions.
Why This Matters
Providing accurate guest information helps prevent issues at the venue and ensures smooth entry for all attendees.
