How do I add myself to the waiting list?

My event has sold out and I need to add myself to the waiting list, how do I do it?

Updated this week

If an event has sold out, you can join the waiting list for a chance to purchase tickets if they become available. Please note that the waiting list operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no guarantee you will receive a ticket. However, the sooner you join the list, the higher your chances of receiving an alert to repurchase tickets.

Note: All sold-out events offer this feature, but the event promoter has the option to disable the waiting list.

How to Join the Waiting List

Joining the waiting list is quick and easy! Here’s how you can do it:

Step 1: Click "Join Waiting List" on the Event Listing

  • App:
Click the "Join Waiting List" button within the event page.

  • Website:
On the event page, click the "Join Waiting List" option.

Step 2: Select the Number of Tickets You’d Like to Purchase

  • App:
Choose how many tickets you would like to potentially purchase from the list of available options.

Step 3: Enter Your Email & Phone Number

You’ll need to enter both your email address and phone number to receive notifications if tickets become available for the event.

  • App:
Input your details in the required fields.

  • Website:
Enter your contact details in the provided boxes.

How Alerts Work

Once you’ve joined the waiting list, you’ll receive an alert if tickets become available. If you’ve requested more than one ticket, you might receive multiple alerts.

Important:

  • If you receive an alert, you must click the link within 20 minutes to complete your purchase.

  • After 20 minutes, the link will expire, and the next person on the waiting list will be offered the tickets.

  • No Prioritisation:
Skiddle Customer Support cannot prioritise or alter your position on the waiting list.
