What if the event gets cancelled/postponed and I paid using booking fee credit?

It states 'freeCheckout card ending 0000' on the refund confirmation?

When a refund is processed, it's important to know how your original payment and any credits are handled.

How Refunds Are Issued

Refunds are processed in the following order:

  • Out-of-pocket payments (e.g. payments made via debit/credit card or PayPal) will be refunded to your original payment method first.

  • Booking fee credits (also known as freeCheckout credits) will then be returned to your Skiddle account for future use.

What Does "freeCheckout Card Ending 0000" Mean?

If you see the phrase "freeCheckout card ending 0000" in your refund confirmation email, here’s what it means:

  • The booking fee portion of your order has not been refunded to your bank or card.

  • Instead, those booking fees have been credited back to your Skiddle account in the form of a freeCheckout credit.

  • You can use this credit towards another event on Skiddle—giving you another chance to book without losing out. 💃
