Why do I have to contact the event organisers directly regarding a refund for a postponed event (outside of the timeframe) when I purchased from Skiddle?

Why you may have to contact the event organisers to obtain a refund

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Skiddle’s Role as an Intermediary Ticketing Platform

Skiddle acts as an intermediary ticketing outlet by providing a self-service platform where promoters and event organisers can list and sell tickets directly.

Refund Requests Outside the Refund Window

  • If your refund request is made outside the authorised refund timeframe, you must contact the event organiser directly.

  • Skiddle cannot authorise refunds beyond the original refund window set by the organiser.

Refund Process After the Refund Window

  • Once the authorised refund period has passed, all refund decisions are at the discretion of the event organiser.

  • If the organiser approves your refund, they will notify Skiddle.

  • Upon receiving confirmation from the organiser, Skiddle will process the refund on their behalf.
