Skiddle is a self service website so all our events are added by the event organisers themselves. We do thorough moderation checks to ensure listings are up to Skiddle’s standard.
Skiddle do not recommend selling nor purchasing tickets from third-party sites. We always encourage customers to buy from reputable sellers to reduce the risk of ticket touting and receiving unofficial tickets.
What is ticket touting?
A ticket tout is an individual who buys many tickets to events which are in high demand so that they can sell them on for an increased profit.
If you purchase tickets from a tout then the barcodes will not be valid and you will not be able to gain entry to the event. Please note, Skiddle will not be responsible for any face value refunds.
Things to check:
The official ticket outlet
Always check the website of the artist(s) you are wanting to see to check if they are selling through certain ticket sites
If the tour or show is sold out
If the tour or show is sold out on official sites and you can find free or heavily discounted tickets please take a minute to consider if these are official tickets.
Sometimes things are too good to be true, if you see your favourite artist and the tickets are free you have to take a step back and ask yourself, ‘is this too good to be true’ Because the answer is - Yes, it is.
