17 STEPS
1 Due to the current government guidelines, you may need to postpone your event. To begin, log in to Promotion Centre and click Manage Events.
2 Next, click "View my events overview".
3 Find the event you wish to Postpone and click the name of the event.
4 Under "edit event" on the left hand side, click "Cancel/Postpone".
5 We are encouraging all promoters to postpone events, rather than cancelling, to limit the amount of refund requests and to try to ensure that all events will take place at some point in the future.
6 As standard, postponed is selected by default, currently, but click to make sure that this option is selected.
7 If a new date has been confirmed for your event, this is where we shall set it, starting with the day.
If no new date has been confirmed yet, please follow the steps from here onward - http://ior.ad/6Vt3
8 Then setting the month.
9 And finally, selecting the year.
10 In this box, you will need to state a reason for the postponement. For the current situation, we recommend something along the following lines - "Due to government measures amidst the current Covid-19 situation"
11 Once you're happy with the details of the postponement, click "Preview".
12 This banner shows what will be displayed on your event listing.
13 This page shows the email your ticket holders will receive, informing them of the postponement. Customers will receive a second automated email in due course following the postponement, informing them of their options regarding their tickets.
14 Click "Cancel Event" to confirm this.
15 The red box confirms that your event is Postponed.
You will need to re-list your event for the new date. For a guide on how to do this, see here - http://ior.ad/6VtH
16 To make sure your event was indeed postponed, head to the event listing to see the message displayed.
17 As can be seen here, the event was postponed successfully.
