25 STEPS
-
Once logged in to the promotion center, from the Dashboard, head into the "Manage Events" tab.
-
Click "View my events overview".
-
Find the event you wish to add passworded tickets for and click the name of the event.
-
Scroll to the ticket section of the Manage event screen and click "Add ticket".
Passwords can also be added to already existing tickets. Please see here on how to do this - https://bit.ly/2ttBijW -
Fill in the Ticket details as normal, starting with the ticket name.
-
In here, a short description can be added for any information that ticket purchasers may need to know.
-
This is where we will select that this ticket can only be purchased with the use of a password. Click here to reveal the options.
-
Select "Password protected".
We will determine the password for this ticket on the next screen. -
Two new options have now been revealed.
This is where you can decide whether the ticket will be visible, but unable to be purchased until the password is entered, or hidden until the password is entered. For this example, we will select hidden. -
Enter the face value cost of the ticket here.
-
Once you are happy with all the ticket details, scroll down and select "Save ticket".
-
Since "Password protected" was selected, we are now brought to this screen.
Click "Set up Password Options". -
The first thing to do is to give your password list a name. This is so that a created list of passwords can be applied to more than one ticket, should that be required.
This is only for your reference. -
Clicking here will give us to options: No (single use) & Yes (multi-use).
This determines whether your password can be used only once, or numerous times. -
For this example, we will use a multi-use password.
For a guide on single use passwords, please see here - https://bit.ly/36RoVNc -
In this box, we will type out the password our customers will use to purchase this ticket.
As this is a multi-use password, we only require one password to be entered. -
Once you are happy with the details entered, click "Save password list".
-
Click here to close this window.
-
Click here to return to the manage event page.
-
Here, we can see that our ticket has been added and that it is password protected, using the list we created.
-
Scroll back up and click on the event URL to be taken to the public listing.
-
On your ticket box, this link will now be present.
-
In this box, type the password we created.
-
Click "apply".
-
Our password protected ticket is now visible and is available for purchase.
