To postpone your event, You need to log into your account via www.promotioncentre.co.uk. From here click Manage Events > View My Events Overview and select the event you are wishing to postpone.
On the left hand side underneath the ‘Edit Details’ box there is an option to ‘Cancel/Postpone’ - please select this. Select ‘Postpone’ within the following options, this will then generate a couple of boxes to complete.
Please enter the date in which your event has been resheduled to, if this has not yet been decided please tick the box.
As you would with a cancellation, Please enter the reasons why you are having to cancel your event e.g. Unforeseen Circumstances, Bad Weather Conditions
There is also the option to add any additional notes that you would like to inform the customers of regarding the cancellation; this could be a personalised message from yourselves sending apologies. Please note it is optional to complete this box.
Please then select ‘preview’, this will them take you to a preview of the email the customers who have purchased tickets will receive. Once you are happy to proceed, you can continue to cancel your event. (Please note, the text on this button does not change and if you have selected to 'postpone' your event, your event will be postponed and not cancelled.)
Customers will be notified of the postponement, and are given instructions to claiming a refund if they cannot attend the new date.
Customers get 7 days to claim a refund. If they have not had one processed in that time their tickets will be moved by us to the new date/listing.
You will need to relist the original event with the new date, you do this easily by heading to Manage Events > View my events overview > (name of your event) > Copy to new event (under the Edit Event heading in the left-hand column). Please add on the remaining tickets from your original listing to your new listing.
