To add a passworded ticket head to the ‘Sell Tickets’ tab in the Promotion Centre, and select ‘Add New Ticket’.
From there highlight the event you would like to add tickets to and click ‘next’.
During the setup phase of the ticket, this would be set up almost identically to a normal ticket, all you need to change is in the Availability box, next to the tickets available box, you’d switch the default ‘Available to everyone’ to ‘Password protected’.
You can then select whether you’d want these tickets on display, or hidden until the password is entered.
Then complete the ticket as normal, and hit save.
Once saved, you’ll be prompted to ‘Set Up Password Options’. This will allow you to add in your own password that will unlock the ticket, or to generate a number of single-use passwords to stop the same password being used repeatedly.
Firstly add the name of the list, then select ‘No (single use)’ or ‘Yes (multi use)’ to choose your set up option. You would type this code into the big white box at the bottom of the page.
This produces your password for your ticket.
